Be Well Wednesday: Wellness in the Middle of New Beginnings

A moment of reflection as I step into a new season.

Reflecting on my journey. I have kept the faith, endured, obeyed, and now a new season is unfolding not because I said so but because God said it is time.

This week has been full in the best way; new doors opening, new routines forming, and the quiet excitement of stepping into a new work season starting in June. With all of that movement, I almost didn’t post today. But maybe that’s the reminder someone needs.

Wellness doesn’t disappear in busy seasons, it becomes intentional.

In moments of transition, our minds can feel scattered or stretched thin. But God offers us something steady to hold onto:

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.”
Isaiah 26:3

That verse has been grounding me this week. It reminds me that peace isn’t found in having everything under control, it’s found in keeping my mind anchored in Him, even when life is shifting.

And sometimes anchoring ourselves looks incredibly simple.

Here’s one practice for today:
Inhale for 4 seconds.
Hold for 4 seconds.
Exhale for 6 seconds.

One minute to reset your mind, steady your spirit, and remind your body that you’re safe, supported, and capable of handling what’s ahead.

“Even in transition, I’m learning to breathe, trust, and move with intention.”

As I prepare for this new chapter, I’m learning that wellness isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence. And even in transition, we can choose to be well, one breath at a time.

Be well, intentionally.
Be well, gently.
Be well, even in the busy.

Today, I choose peace, presence, and one small act of wellness.
