It is always interesting to learn how many people believe that leading a healthy vegan plant-based lifestyle is tasteless, boring, and unattainable. Some of my friends often said that they could not eat leaves all day because they were not rabbits, lol. This notion is so far from the truth. It is indeed correct that I am thriving for good health for myself and my family. However, we do not sit around and eat plants or raw vegetables all day. We enjoy and love a lot of the foods you do, excluding the use of things from animals and their by-products. I wish to add also that if this lifestyle was a drag years ago, it is not so today. There are tonnes of great recipes, foods, and products out there, and they are ridiculously finger-licking good.
My daughter is the princess of pasta. She loves to make it because, according to her, it is quick and easy to make, plus it is delicious. She also happens to be very good at it as well. Recently, she made a Vegan Fettucine Alfredo dish for dinner, and it was terrific. She used raw cashew to make the sauce, and it was so rich, creamy, and flavorful. She also added Vegan Italian Sausage, and that enhanced the taste. I had to force myself from eating way too much.

I want to add as a side note that a healthy lifestyle journey is more fun when the whole family is involved. So do not hesitate in allowing your kids to be a part of this entire experience. It is perfectly okay for them to participate and learn how to prepare healthy meals as long as it is safe for them to do so. In doing this, you are teaching them to eat well and how to make what they wish to eat for themselves.
