They say the proof is in the pudding, so since I have been coming to the platform and professing that I lead a plantbased lifestyle, today, I want to share a little about what I eat on a plantbased diet. In case you are a newcomer here and do not know, I have been leading a plantbased lifestyle for about a decade now, give or take. In other words, I have eliminated meat, dairy, and its by-products from our diet. My husband is plantbased as well, and my two younger children were born into the lifestyle. The reasons I went plantbased were both personal and religious. I wanted to remain healthy and believed this option was ideal for me and my family. Secondly, I wanted to return to the original diet God gave when He created and placed man in the Garden of Eden.
Genesis 1:29: God speaks to Adam, “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb-bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.
I enjoy making healthy meals for my family and myself at home. We try to keep things interesting by eating a variety, which has been good. We also have to do a lot of food combinations to ensure that we are getting a healthy balance. Below are some things I ate for September.

The weather has been getting colder recently, so I thought some warm soup would do us right. In addition to lentils, I added celery, carrots (herds: parsley, dill, cilantro), onion, garlic, and scallion. I also added veggie bouillions and lightly browned tofu on top.

bell pepper
parsley
Himalayan pink salt
lemon juice
red onions
chilli-infused olive oil (optional).

Blessings.
