Everything Apple

Apple this, apple that, and why not? I went apple picking two weeks ago and have been eating apples ever since. They are still so fresh, delicious, and crunchy. Eating directly from the farm instead of the store is so comforting. Only God knows how far and how many people hand those store-bought fruits and vegetables passed through before reaching our tables. It is a blessing to pick and eat our food directly from its source; I am talking about that farm-to-table experience, and for some reason, the food always tastes better. Considering that I have so many apples, other than eating them, I added some to various recipes such as juices, smoothies, and even pancakes. I even made applesauce, yum! Here are some pictures of what I made:

Apple-mint sauce

This homemade applesauce was delicious. Since the apples were already sweet and soft, I only had to wash them, remove the core, and blend them in the Nutri-bullet. No water or additional sweetener was necessary. I even left the peel on. This sauce is suitable for those on a raw diet as well.

Cinnamon Apple Sauce

If you did not know before, apple and cinnamon work well together. My son had a bowl for breakfast and enjoyed it so much. I prefer raw apple sauce because it remains nutrient-dense this way.

Cold pressed green juice with green apples

I love juicing, and I especially love the fantastic benefits that I get from fresh, cold-pressed juice. I call this the blood revitalizer low. It contains kale, celery, apples, turmeric, ginger, and green lime. You can even add a pinch of cayenne pepper if you like.

Apple-Strawberry Smoothie
Oh, Gosh, this was so delicious. I only used apples, strawberries, and ginger; you need not add water. It was thick, tasty, and fibrous, lol. I felt so full after consuming 16 plus ounces.
Apple-banana pancakes

Homemade pancakes are a favorite of my children, especially my son. And I get to be as versatile as I want to ensure he gets adequate nutrients. Before I made these pancakes, I blended apples(leaving the skin on) and ripe bananas together; I then added homemade almond milk that my son and I had made the night before. I also added whole wheat flour and a pinch of pink salt. They came out moist, and he had them for breakfast and school lunch.

I added plant-based spread and maple syrup. You can also add your favorite fruits as well.

My family and I enjoy various apple-based meal ideas and love making healthy food in the kitchen. I trust this will encourage you to do the same for yourself and your family. Remember, health is our most significant wealth, so prioritize yours today.

“Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval,” John 6:27.

God Bless.
